Why did it end?

So after watching the last ever harry potter movie I felt a great black whole in my heart. I have grown up with them and now my childhood has shatterd like 100,000 tiny little pieces of glass. But now you are thinking that i am weird and how i should just let it come to an end. But I dont want to let it go.  I want to hang onto my memories and want more books and films to be made. So I shall have to hang on for dear life.
